In a further advantageous embodiment, the smaller reinforcing elements are provided with locking pads 4 which lock the smaller reinforcing elements together with the larger ones.
The locking portions 4 can be designed as a pair of teeth with a gap between, where the locking portions are arranged on the periphery of the annular portions 3a-e furthest from the center line of the smaller annealing elements.

Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment of a reinforcing element. Description of preferred embodiments Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of the reinforcement seen obliquely from above. The reinforcement comprises four larger reinforcement elements 1a-d arranged in parallel and four smaller reinforcement elements 2a-d arranged in parallel. The four smaller reinforcement elements arranged in parallel lie side by side with a distance between two adjacent smaller reinforcement elements and the four larger reinforcement elements arranged in parallel correspondingly lie side by side with a distance between two adjacent larger reinforcement elements. Both types of reinforcement elements consist of elongate, mainly flat elements. The longest extension direction of the reinforcing elements constitutes the longitudinal extension direction of the elements and the longitudinal extension direction of the larger reinforcement elements is arranged at a right angle to the longitudinal extension direction of the smaller reinforcement elements. The planar elements have a normal and the normals of the larger and smaller reinforcement elements lie in a common plane that extends through the middle of all the annealing elements.
Both types of locking elements consist of a series of substantially annular elements arranged along a straight line and connected to each other by necks. In the illustrated embodiment, these necks consist of portions with softly curved edges, i.e. without sharp corners which can constitute fracture indications, but the annular elements can of course be designed in a different way.
The smaller reinforcing elements 2a-d extend through the annular elements on the larger reinforcing elements 1a-d. The top and bottom of each annular member of the smaller reinforcing members 2a-d are tangent to the inner edge of a corresponding annular member of the larger reinforcing members. At each tangent point, the smaller reinforcement elements are connected to the larger reinforcement elements with a welding point or with tension.
The annular elements of the larger reinforcement elements 1a-d in the illustrated embodiment have an inner diameter which corresponds to the outer diameter of the annular elements of the smaller reinforcement elements 2a-d and it is then suitable to fasten the smaller reinforcement elements to the larger reinforcement elements with welding. The annular elements of the larger reinforcement elements may also have an inner diameter which is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the annular elements of the smaller reinforcement elements 2a-d. The smaller annealing elements must then be forced into the larger reinforcing elements and then sit in position only due to the resilient action of the annular elements. This also makes the annealing tense, which gives the annealing advantages for certain load types.
Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment of the annulation seen from the side, so that the larger reinforcement elements are illustrated in profile, while the smaller reinforcement elements are shown from the end.
Here it is more clearly illustrated how the annular elements on the smaller annealing elements fit inside the annular elements on the larger reinforcing elements.
Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment of a smaller reinforcing element 2e. The decorative element is constituted in the same way as in the first and second embodiments by the annealing of ring-shaped elements 3a-e arranged in a straight line and connected to each other by necks. Each annular element has a top and a bottom arranged furthest from the center line of the reinforcement element. At the top and bottom of each annular element a locking portion 4 is arranged which comprises two teeth with a gap between them. When the smaller annealing elements are inserted into the larger ones, the larger reinforcing elements are received between such a pair of teeth, so that the annealing element is locked in the gap between the teeth. Also for this embodiment, the annular elements of the larger annealing elements may have an inner diameter equal to or slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the annular elements of the smaller reinforcing elements 2a-d.

Claims (4)

Claim 1 A reinforcement for casting, comprising substantially planar reinforcement elements (1a-d, Za-e) formed with annular portions (3a-e) arranged in a row along a line and connected to each other by necks, characterized in that the reinforcement comprises at least a set of smaller reinforcing elements (1a-d, Ze) and a set of larger reinforcing elements (2a-d), the outer diameter of the smaller reinforcing elements being substantially equal to the inner diameter of the larger reinforcing elements and at least one annular portion of a smaller reinforcing element being arranged inside an annular portion of a larger decorative element.

A reinforcement according to claim 1, characterized in that the outer diameter of the smaller reinforcement elements is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the larger reinforcement elements, so that the reinforcement is prestressed when the smaller reinforcement elements are arranged in the larger reinforcement elements.

A reinforcement according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the smaller reinforcement elements are provided with locking portions (4) which lock the smaller reinforcement elements together with the larger ones.

A lock according to claim 3, characterized in that the locking portions (4) are formed as pairs of teeth with a gap between and where the locking portions are arranged on the periphery of the annular portions (Sa-e) furthest from the center line of the smaller locking elements.
